for both safety and productivity purposes. To achieve this, mine-wide voice radio and data networks are required to extend connectivity into all working areas of the mine. However, underground mines present a unique set of challenges to delivering effective communications systems. Our team's expertise in surface radio and wireless data networks has been applied to develop & build products that specifically target the unique and complex environments of underground mines. ## UNDERGROUND MINE CHALLENGES - An underground mine is continually being extended, and on-site trades must be able to extend the networks, without needing specialist contractors. The “big design up front” approach just does not work. - The environment is harsh with rough ground, mobile heavy machinery, dusty conditions, and no cable trays or smooth surfaces.
