With the release of the Integrated Series off-grid products, Morningstar Corporation has revealed its most advanced solar regulators to date with the new GenStar MPPT Series regulators. With advanced communications, control options, easy integration with the ReadyRail technology, and the continued legacy of the acclaimed TrakStar Technology™, the GenStar represents Morningstar’s best engineering efforts brought together in a single design.
Available in 60Amp, 80Amp, and 100Amp sizes, operating at 200VDC input, and up to 30Amps load control, the GenStar Series covers a variety of applications for industrial and off-grid solar.
In addition to the advanced communications and built-in control features of the GenStar itself, the innovative new ReadyRail system adds functionality and features quickly and easily. The ReadyRail technology allows for the addition of features as needed through the installation of ReadyBlocks which snap quickly and easily into the system. As the ReadyBlock units contain both the hardware and software for features installation integration is seamless. Current ReadyBlock expansions include the ReadyShunt for battery metering and SOC, ReadyBMS for closed-loop lithium battery integration, and ReadyRelay for dry contact signaling and load control. Adding new features is a snap as each unit includes both the hardware and the software.
