Take ADVANTAGE of the NSW SOLAR BATTERY INCENTIVE with rfi!
As part of the wider Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS), starting from November 2024, the NSW Government is offering incentives of up to $2,400 towards the cost of a new battery system for home and business owners. Plus an additional $250 to $400 for home and business owners when connecting to a Virtual Power Plant (VPP). This incentive is available twice, minimum 3 years apart.
The NSW Battery Incentive is to encourage more homes and businesses to install green energy solutions through solar and battery systems, allowing the grid to be more reliable whilst reducing the dependence on fossil fuel during peak demand periods.
Whether you already have solar panels or are looking to install a complete solar and battery system, these incentives can help offset the upfront costs. The exact amount you'll receive depends on the size of the battery chosen.
